Mrs. Shannon L. Dotsikas comes to Twiggs County Schools with 20 years of experience in education, over 17 years of experience in Human Resources, 2 of which are in the corporate environment. While 15 of those years are in the public school HR environment in the middle GA area.

Mrs. Dotsikas is a native of Macon, Georgia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Mercer University in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Georgia College and State University, and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Capella University.

Mrs. Dotsikas has been married to her husband, Tom for almost 20 years. They have two teenage daughters, Ava Faith and Layla Grace.

In her free time, Mrs. Dotsikas likes to read, spend time at the beach, sings on her praise team at church, leads women’s Bible study, love watching her girls cheer, and barrel race their horses.
