Certification Upgrades and Transactions

The Human Resources Department is available to assist certified employees with certification transactions through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). Most certification requests are submitted electronically by Human Resources after all required documentation has been received.

Required Documentation

To process most certification upgrades and transactions, please submit the following to the Human Resources Department:

• Official college transcripts reflecting the degree awarded, degree conferral date, and major
• Completed GaPSC Update Application (if applicable)
• Any additional documentation required for your specific certification transaction
